Exceptional coffee with exquisite service. We had a V60 of a natural Columbia and an amazing cold brew with passion fruit and mango. Tasty fresh and very well balanced. My daughter's passion fruit Italian ice was very sophisticated. The staff is great and the vibe inside is perfect. Stop here! They roast their own coffee too! It is near the elevator, which is great. Grab a coffee and ride up and enjoy the view.

I couldn't get enough of the orange cold brew; if it were available in a larger size, I'd have ordered it. The cortado was really smooth. Cute cafe with friendly owners who make you feel welcome, serve you with a smile, and recognize you on repeat visits. Would love to return.

I don’t 5-star often, but this place deserves it! Don’t let the proximity to the Fenelon Place Elevator make you think this is a tourist trap. Nope! Local folks, farm-to-cup coffee roasted in-house, incredible atmosphere, delicious pastries. This spot is the real deal in Dubuque!

Delicious coffee and great staff. Came from out of town and were looking for a coffee place and very happy we came here. The barista was helpful in deciding on a drink. Authentic and cute little shop. Highly recommend!

Startlingly excellent experience worth a detour. Super clean shop with staff who are both knowledgeable and kind. I had a cortado and a cappuccino, plus a morning glory and a pain au chocolat. Everything was carefully made and tasted incredible. Pastries were hot, fresh, flaky. Barista drinks were some of the best coffee I’ve had anywhere. Peaceful atmosphere, friendly people, and you can tell a lot of care goes into running this place. Made my day.

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Le Venta, and I was completely captivated by the remarkable pastry I indulged in, as well as the silky smoothness of my coffee. I opted for the Morning Glory pastry, and it was nothing short of extraordinary. With its delicate, airy texture, each bite melted in my mouth, showcasing the perfect balance of savory and sweet flavors. The pastry had a beautifully flaky outer layer that crumbled gently, rather than being overly crunchy, allowing the rich, nuanced flavors to shine through. To accompany this delightful treat, I savored a cold brew coffee that was nothing less than refreshing. Even as the temperature began to rise, the bold, invigorating blend provided a cooling counterpoint that danced on my taste buds with every sip. My experience at Le Venta felt like a delightful escape from the familiar surroundings of Dubuque, transporting me to a realm crafted purely by my imagination. I highly recommend stopping by for this luxurious treat and exceptional brew—you won’t be disappointed!

This is the only true specialty coffee shop in the tristate area. Dubuque really needed a place like this. The location is great and there’s free street parking. The owners and baristas are both from Colombia. They’re friendly, super knowledgeable, and passionate about making amazing coffee. They work directly with small farms in Colombia and bring that care from the farm all the way to your cup. The pastries were fantastic, especially the almond croissant. Their pour-overs were excellent too.

Delicious quality coffee and drinks. Went twice in one weekend while visiting. Once to go and once to stay. Amazing quality espresso, great location, and service. All in all we had an iced almond milk latte, cold brew, cortado (YUM) and hot oat milk latter, sour donut. Would buy them all again! Would recommend them all.
